In the Art Studio. Lynda is a professional artist whose painting have been shown locally and nationally. Her work is included in The Art of Encaustic Painting by Joanne Mattera.  Encaustic painting is a simple process that produces impressive results with luminous and jewel-like surfaces and textures. Heated wax can be fused and melted to create  layers for collage of fabric, paper, and organic materials. The surfaces can be rough and sculptural or smooth and bright. It is ideal for  working abstractly or more realistically. Contact me for  questions and the material list which I can email or snail mail to you.
